work-in-progress: ugly 12 + 2 quilt

check out those multicolored cats

This is my ugly quilt top, and I'm proud of it. I started it a few days ago on a whim, when I decided I wanted to test-drive this free Oh Fransson pattern. I already had a bunch of fat quarters, and I picked up a few more (including that wonderfully hideous cat print) to make this quilt top.
I used a $5.00 Wal-Mart twin flat bedsheet for the black sections. I can't wait to quilt it up and see how it all washes and wears!
I've mostly been working on my unfortunately large papers, but I sneak in a little sewing whenever my head hurts too much to look at the computer anymore. Crafting the pain away...
